First Pub!

3.1.2018 -

The first day of the program! I’m actually roommates with the girl I got dinner w/ last night, and Olivia, who I chatted with at orientation.

Schlepping my luggage here and up to my flat was an adventure (there’s no lift at the appt…) but I made it fine, and registered at the Foundation House.

I played “tour guide” helping everyone find where to go, and picked up the most amazing croissant from little bakery nearby...

It was the most perfect way to end my first full day in the UK (too much alliteration?)

We had nothing until 5pm, so I showed the 3 Temple guys of our trip where the SIM card store is and we shopped for a bit. Thankfully I got to nap for a little before our floor meeting.

One of the most fun parts of the day was definitely going to a pub for a hard cider and fish & chips with the guys + Taylor. Very British 😂 Perfect thing to have on my first full day in London. We walked around for a little and watched The Office back at the apt. A first food day 😊 -> I’m excited to see how the semester develops!
